Skating fans were in for a treat this week when we got a very early cold snap. It's the last week of November. Last year the skating was nearly a month later and the year before that no skating until January! The five years before that there was hardly any skating at all. One thing I have really wanted to experience here is what happens after 'It sil heve' is called out. The usually stoic frysians go nuts from what I hear :)
